Dr. Thurston Nash joins Clifton and Mauney Dentistry

Dr Nash became a dentist to build relationships with patients and to help them take ownership of their smiles! He chose to specialize in kids because they are light-hearted and he enjoys getting to know them, watching them grow-up and helping put a smile on their faces.

Life Long Learner

Dr. Nash is in the process of becoming board-certified with the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. He is a member of the American American Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, NC Dental Society, and the Durham-Orange Dental Society.

Two doctors discuss orthodontic treatment plans with a dental assistant and a patient.

Personal

Outside of work, Dr. Nash enjoys spending time with his wife Borden, seeing friends and family, and anything sports related, especially Tar Heel athletics. He is an avid basketball player and has a keen interest in sports history, a subject in which he took several college courses. As a food lover, Dr. Nash likes to try restaurants and foods around the Chapel Hill area. He certainly misses the New Orleans and Louisiana food scene, but loves being back in Chapel Hill.

Dr. Nash was born and raised in Concord, North Carolina and spent the majority of his childhood there before his family relocated to Chapel Hill. He attended the nearby East Chapel Hill High School before enrolling at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill to pursue his undergraduate degree.
