In the Community

Chapel Hill is a wonderful city with a thriving, warm community, and we are deeply proud to be a part of it. We proudly support many of our local schools including East Chapel Hill High School, Chapel Hill High School, and a variety of local organizations:

• Relay for Life of Orange County: Facing cancer is one of life’s most challenging battles, but Relay for Life ensures no one has to do it alone. As a nationwide organization, Relay for Life hosts thousands of relay charity events across the country to support and celebrate cancer survivors and caregivers. We are honored to support them in Chapel Hill.
• Hillsborough Youth Athletic Association (HYAA): The HYAA offers softball, baseball, soccer, cheerleading, and basketball to kids in grades K-8 in Chapel Hill, Hillsborough, and the surrounding communities. HYAA has been serving the community for more than 3 decades, and we’re proud to support them in that work.
• Ronald McDonald House: The Ronald McDonald House network helps to ease the burdens on sick children and families dealing with serious, chronic, and terminal illness. We proudly support our very own Ronald McDonald House of Chapel Hill.
• Orange County 4-H: 4-H is a global network of youth organizations with one simple, important mission: engage young people to help reach their fullest potential. 4-H takes a learn-by-doing approach to developing citizenship, leadership, responsibility, and life skills through youth experiential learning programs, and we feel blessed to support their Chapel Hill chapter.
• North Carolina Youth Tap Ensemble: Trust us when we say that NCYTE is one of the best youth tap ensembles in the world! Featuring dozens of North Carolina tap dancers aged 8 to 18, NCYTE has been entertaining audiences with both traditional and contemporary tap dancing since 1983. We’re proud to support this organization and help to continue the legacy of a truly American dance tradition.
